
Nancy Chan
Nancy Chan is Executive Director of the WoodNext Foundation. Previously, she led the Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning function for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative’s Justice & Opportunity Initiative. She also provided research and strategy consulting services for philanthropy, government, and corporate clients through her work at Arabella Advisors, SRI International, and the Urban Institute.
While at Arabella, she served as the founding director of the Hope & Grace Fund, the charitable grantmaking arm of the skincare brand Philosophy, inc. In addition, on behalf of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Nancy evaluated the impact of a multi-million-dollar teacher leadership program.
Nancy has also worked at tech companies Adaptec, Palm, and Catalyte. She holds an MPP from the Georgetown McCourt School of Public Policy and a BS in electrical engineering from MIT. In her spare time, she blogs and gives advice about social impact careers.

Alexandria Webber
Alex Webber is the Special Projects Manager of the WoodNext Foundation. Her portfolio includes conservation projects, grant management, and humanitarian philanthropy. Prior to joining WoodNext, Alex worked in the humanitarian and development field for more than 15 years. Most recently, she served as a Senior Director for Humanitarian Fundraising at Save the Children, with a focus on the Middle East and Europe. She was also a Peace Corps Volunteer in Botswana and has deployed as disaster response personnel.
Alex earned her Master’s degree in International Education Development with a focus on NGO Management from The George Washington University. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
